Barrister Towfique Ahmed is a lecturer in the Department of Law of American International University-Bangladesh.
Recently, he has been selected as a committee member for the Common Wealth Lawyers Association (UK).
He is the first Bangladeshi man, who will represent the country (Bangladesh) at CLA.

Towfique Ahmed has served at three Law Schools in Bangladesh and has provided tuition for distance learning students at the University of London and BPP University in England.
He is currently working as a Senior Associate at a Law Firm in Dhaka with a focus on Alternative Dispute Resolution, Intellectual Property Law, Media and Entertainment Law and Business and Commercial Law.
Towfique is a member of The Honourable Society of Middle Temple, Inns of Court for England and Wales and was called to the Bar in the year 2016. He studied ‘Bar Professional Training Course’ (leading to Barrister at Law) at Northumbria University Newcastle (UK). He is currently enrolled at the University of Cambridge (Institute of Continuing Education) pursuing ‘Law and Genetics’, a Professional Certificate Course. Towfique Ahmed achieved his LL. M from the University of Derby and received an LL B from London Metropolitan University.
